Webcam Security to Blog About

Now here’s a great use of technology to blog about! Webcam security home camera provides a great way to monitor anything of concern, or that you need to keep a watchful eye on. Have there ever been the times when you needed to be in two places at once? Maybe at your computer finishing up some work, but your kids insist in playing where they’re out of your sight or hearing distance? This would be a great way to keep an eye on them for that added piece of mind.

RSS Feed Copyright Notice

Writing content requires a substantial amount of time, effort, and creativity so it becomes very frustrating when you discover that your creative works have been stolen — and such has been the case more than once this year for me, and probably for you too!

Plagiarism and content theft is probably far more widespread then what anyone can imagine, and it’s down-right disturbing! With the RSS Feed syndication it makes it even easier for this to occur, and the end result can be that your content shows up on another person’s website. In addition to myself there are countless others out there who had their content used for plagiarism or stolen from their RSS feed, blog post or website.

Adsense in Posts with Blogger

One of my blogging friends Dennis mentioned on his blog that Blogger added the ability to easily add the Adsense codes into posts. This is in regards to those of you who are making use of the newer Blogger templates, which are widget ready.

Adsense in BloggerFrom the illustration you can see how easy it is to add Adsense into your Blogger posts!

Simple go to the “Page Elements” section in your Blogger admin panel and then select “edit” in the lower right corner of the blog post widget.

The next screen (not shown) provides color selections for your Google Adsense advertisements, and the ad formats to select from for placement within your blog posts.

Not sure what the best colors are for your ads? It’s simple! Select the colors that blend in with your template the best. You will see in the Blogger screen beyond the “edit” button that Blogger will show you your template colors so you can select the ones to blend best with your template.

I suggest that you pick the same background color as your template, and the same text colors as your blog posts text. The more the colors blend with your template the greater your chances of someone clicking through an advertisement as it appears to be more of a natural link, and less like an advertisement. That’s it! You’re done!

You’ll want to be sure to head on over to Dennis’ blog to learn some great tips and tools for Internet marketing, but I don’t yet have a link to provide because his site is undergoing some renovations! Thanks Dennis for sharing that new Blogger tip on your blog. :D

Blog Header Design

For those of you who have read my blog before this weekend, you may have noticed the change in my header design. I was bored with just the text, so over the weekend I decided to add in some fun characters to jazz things up a bit. But, is it my blog’s life-long logo? No, probably not, but it perked things up and makes my blog stand out from others who may have a similar template.

Of course you do reserve the right to not like my new header design, but if you don’t - well that’s just tough - lol. :D I had fun with it, even though it was really not a priority on my plate right now. At least it might add some whimsy into your day, or mine!

Happy Blogging!
