Hi Trygg,
I'm not familiar with the A1 Sitemap Generator you're referring to so my best recommendation would be to refer to their help section. If the second one you submitted for your Blogger blog was not accepted, you may have written in the wrong code, so double check what you wrote in the text area box for the code, and see if that works.

Thanks for the links. One problem. feeds/posts/default?orderby=updated was accepted by webmaster, but the second was not. What is atom.xml? Is this a file I should have uploaded on the blog somehow for this to work. I have A1 sitemap generator to create my sitemap for our webpage.

It's really nice that there are cellular phones nowadays that were made to help seniors. Actually I've bought one for my mom. It's the Just5 phone. Mom really loved it because of the large buttons. Now she doesn't call me for help whenever she needs to call somebody.

Hi Ava,
You're blog was fine when I checked it. You were most likely experiencing the message about being redirected either due to your own browser Internet settings, or possibly because the redirect was still in it's transition time. I clicked through from your sidebar category links etc., and everything worked fine. The permalink for your shop page is different because it's a page rather than a post, from what I could see, but again I didn't get a redirect message. Try clearing your browser cache, if you're still getting that message. I hope that helps you. By the way, on your About page, is that a photo of you when you were a child? It's a darling picture. Love the full riding gear. :)

Tammara,

I found this message board and was hoping you may be able to help with the next step after this is figured out. I successfully redirected my blogger page to my own domain http://pacificdesignsblog.com , but now I have an issue whenever I click on any of the other pages in my pages bar, there is a message that reads:

You're about to be redirected

The blog that used to be here is now at http://www.pacificdesignsblog.com/p/shop_26.html.
Do you wish to be redirected?

This blog is not hosted by Blogger and has not been checked for spam, viruses and other forms of malware.

Is there a workaround so that I do not get this message while linking within my blog? Any help you may have would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Mediafire Links,
Sounds like you did your Blogger sitemap submission correctly, and seeing only a small number show up in the sitemap seems to be the norm for the Blogger sitemaps. Keep in mind that it doesn't represent the actual number of posts Google has indexed, but only a portion. So, things should be fine with what you did. As long as you see the green check mark in your Google dashboard next to the sitemap, that means it has been submitted correctly, and is working. Over time you will probably see that number change. Again, no need for alarm, and it should be fine.

Google alerts gives me lots of the latest posts on topics that I have selected as interests to me. Giving my personal comments on those posts and leaving a link to my site serves to increase traffic to my site as well as adding to information on the other site.

Hi, Without providing any details it's difficult to determine why it would not have worked for you. One point worth mentioning is that you need to have your Google Webmaster Tools tracking code installed on your site in order to determine from your webmaster tools dashboard if the sitemap is working or not. The Google Webmaster Tools dashboard will indicate if it's working or not, so did you first off correctly install your Google Webmaster tracking code?

Also, this article is in regards to a blog using your own domain with Blogger, and not a Blogspot url. Not sure why it would not have worked for you, but you can seek help in the Blogger Forum as well. Hope that is of help for getting your Blogger sitemap working!
