Paid to Post Sites

EDIT to the Article Below: As of March 2008, this blog will no longer participate in receiving pay for advertised links unless the advertiser is willing to purchase links with the nofollow attribute in order to comply with the Google webmaster guidelines.

So you want to post for money? Who doesn’t! The guidelines vary with each of these companies, which will pay you to post ads on your blogs. The pay also varies with each service. Be sure to do your research with the ones you choose to work with.

Listing the various companies here is NOT an endorsement for any of them, nor am I getting paid to share these with you. This list is certainly not all inclusive. Feel free to comment on which ones you perhaps like or don’t like! Happy blogging!

Google Adsense Got You Down?

Are you running Adsense ads on your blog? Nothing wrong with Adsense, but I thought you might find this interesting. If you are a member of Adsense be sure to be fully aware of their terms of service so you are not found to be in violation of their program.

Google hires Quality Ad Raters to perform random audits of sites which contain Adsense, and one never knows if their site is up for an audit. You may have heard this podcast message in regards to one fellows rant about Adsense, and how his account was canceled. From ISPN Media’s Test Pattern, you will find this audio to be interesting. Listen carefully as this individual speaks quickly! It’s a good heads-up to also pay close attention to the Google Adsense terms of service if you are running their ads on your blogs.

Review Me - Paid to Post Site

I stumbled upon a blog today advertising Review Me, which is a pay to post product reviews program for bloggers. Is anyone here a member of Review Me? They just launched on November 9, 2006. Although I noticed a post in the Wahm forum the other day as well, indicating that some have submitted their blogs for approval and were approved, whereas many others have blogs that are being turned down. It doesn’t appear easy to be approved, and their approval method is not based on human inspection of your blog.

The pay is high compared to similar programs. On the info link above it shows the pay range STARTS at $20.00 and goes up to $200.00 for reviews. Their site states the minimum ad post is 200 words, but for $20.00 one still cannot complain since for most of us typing 200 words goes quickly. For the highest paying ones perhaps they require the blogger to own the product they are reviewing? Dunno, as that is just an assumption since I’m not a member. They do not allow their advertisers to dictate for the ad to be a positive ad, since they want a true product “review”, which is an obvious good rule.

Their site looks interesting, and for anyone needing to monetize their blogs the pay would be tempting for most. In case you’re wondering, no this is not a paid post to recruit you into their program. What are your thoughts?

Please post your comments below about their program, and share what you may know about it! Once this post goes off our front page you will be able to find it under the category link at the left called, “Paid To Post Sites”. So in the future, if you become a member of their program, or know someone personally that has, then please come back to this post and let us know how it’s going! Thanks.
