Not everyone can be so lucky to earn fast cash online from blogging, as it generally occurs over a period of time, which is certainly not fast! This is where one’s test of faith, patience and perseverance comes in. An entrepreneurial spirit is one that develops the patience to work for delayed gratification.
An entrepreneur is also the type of person that perseveres to maintain their goals even if they do not earn fast cash. Most people are not willing to work for delayed gratification, as a true entrepreneur will. That’s probably due to the fact that much of the world focuses on earning money as the only measure of success, which is far from true.
For every story that reflects someone who earned fast cash online from blogging or other endeavor online, there are many more stories of those who failed after they tried, and then they quit thereafter.
The best lesson we can learn is the fact that like this fellow, most people will not earn fast cash online, and we therefore must remember to not quit and to persevere!
Many people get started in blogging as an avenue to market affiliate programs, and I certainly respect that goal. In fact, that was one of my initial thoughts before I began blogging as well.
Setting affiliate programs aside, I think it’s first more important for a person to identify what topic they would enjoy blogging about on a weekly basis, and secondly building traffic to the blog.
Why? First the obvious reason is due to the fact that if you don’t have enough traffic established you will not be successful with any of the affiliate programs. Zero traffic, or nearly none would equate to zero affiliate dollars from programs you are marketing.
The other reason is because you need to establish a blog on a good foundation based on what you would be passionate to blog about, and on a consistent basis. If you don’t build your blogs on that foundation then you will not have a desire to stick with it long term, which would of course quickly put an end to any goals you may have to market affiliate programs.
So, the real question boils down to, should you blog for money? Yes, perhaps. No, maybe not - lol. It really entirely depends on your goals, but base your decision to blog on what you’re passionate to write about, not based on hype or potential money you can make from a particular affiliate program.
That’s just my .02 worth to help a new blogger or blogging wanna-be determine the foundation to blog upon!

Life just got better for us as bloggers. PayPerPost now has the newest opportunity with their advertising direct program, which offers bloggers the ability to be contacted directly from an advertiser to post on their blog. PayPerPost still serves as the agent between the advertiser and the publisher, but in comparison to some other competitors with PayPerPost you get to keep more of the hard earned cash for your efforts.
One of the competitors I had signed up with some time ago has never provided any offers for my blogs!
It seemed to be strange that I never received any offers because I feel that all three of my blogs are quality blogs. Of course I’m biased in that opinion, but none the less I don’t feel I’m exaggerating the quality of my blog posts.
The other peeve I had in regards to one of PayPerPosts competitors is the fact that they didn’t even approve two of my blogs, which again are both quality blogs. They only approved this blog, but it took them a while to get around to that. As a result of the fact that I never received any offers I have not gone back to check since.
Another thing I like about PayPerPost is the fact that I don’t take a hit through my PayPal earnings because I’m not charged a fee with funds received from PPP. Quite the contrary with yet another competitor! Every time I received funds from one of their competitors I had to take the hit with the PayPal charges, which I found annoying. Needless to say, I haven’t posted for that other company in some time.
Why should you consider PayPerPost’s direct program, and not simply solicit to advertise on your blog yourself? The first and foremost reason is the fact that without a company like PayPerPost to help you screen the entity wanting to advertise on your blog, you may become a victim of fraud and never get paid for your efforts. With the PPP opportunity, you get the chance to keep more from your blog ads so it’s a good way to go in comparison to some of the other competitors who will take a bigger share of the revenue.
You may be wondering why you don’t see the display ad for the direct advertising on my blogs yet. The reason is due to the fact that I haven’t yet determined how much I want to charge, so I need to take the time to access that.
TheNewsRoom that is! This is an interesting opportunity for bloggers! This opportunity pays in a variety of ways. You can make money in advertising shares, and even win electronics, vacations and cars when you participate! How cool is that!
TheNewsRoom uses a system that they refer to as video “mashing”, so you can mash for cash!
Each time a news feed or story is embedded into your blog you have an opportunity for potential revenue! There are numerous topic categories to choose from including entertainment, sports, life, politics and more. Mashed content comes from reliable sources such as Associated Press (AP), Reuters, and Agence France-Press (AFP).
If you are a website publisher or blogger who wants to earn money by embedding quality news on your site, simply join The News Room and start mashing! You’ll find all sorts of things to choose from to offer up to date news on your blog and it’s free to add the embed. You may want to take a look at their payment chart to get an idea of how it works for earning potential revenue.
If you think you shouldn’t bother to post news on your blog you’ll want to reconsider that thought. Last year I gained the most traffic on one of my blogs by posting a story about an event relevant to my blog. Suddenly I gained a significant amount of traffic because it turned out that when my blog post was published it was a matter of perfect timing. So, never underestimate the power of posting relevant news on your blog!
OK, off I go now to explore more things in The News Room! While we’re on the subject, here’s a video from their site. It’s about our soldiers communicating through blogs!

Writing posts as a publisher just got better. As you know there have been more companies offering publishing to bloggers, but since the blogosphere has caught onto the idea it’s become more competitive to find offers as more bloggers have learned of the opportunities.

Soon the event will be here, well in Florida anyhow. Thousands of bloggers from around the world will gather at the blog conference to learn more about becoming a better blogger and postie. What’s a postie? Well, if you have done any publishing for PayPerPost then you will recognize the term, but if not essentially it’s a blogger who works as a publisher and posts advertisements on their blogs - like this one! Yes, I have to admit this is a sponsored post for the PostieCon Rock Star event in June.
PayPerPost considers posties as humble bloggers potentially heading for rock star-like status if they become famous for how they influence their readers. Is any of this making sense to you? It should if you are a blogger, but if not the PostieCon07 theme is, “Your a Rock Star” and it sounds like a great place to learn from. For many this may be as close to Rock Star status as you possibly could ever reach!
Unfortunately it’s not an event that I will be able to attend this year, but perhaps in the future. Until then, have fun as a blogger - oh, sorry I meant to say Rock Star!
In the beginning, there was a wanna-be-blogger. Many who have the desire to create a blog or to build a business through blogging become overwhelmed on how or where to even begin. There are many steps to take while on the road to blogging, and some have made their path easier by taking a step-by-step approach.
One such blogger is one of our new members over at our blogging community, Link & Blog Challenge, but she had an additional challenge, which many other bloggers are not faced with - her health. If you are a person with health challenges you may discover that blogging is a great way to provide you with some extra income while you are at home working your way down the road to recovery.
