Blogging to Coach Others

Have you ever wanted to have an opportunity to help others? Share knowledge or encourage people to pursue their dreams and goals? Blogging allows you to do that, but I recently found an offer for a chance to become a life coach and I was quite excited about the opportunity. It seems most of my life I’m led down paths which result in me encouraging other people, so the life coaching opportunity was interesting.

I was surprised however, to never hear back from the company in that I have experience as a professional where I consulted other individuals, and teaching and encouraging others seems to come natural to me.

Today I came across the life coaching website again from a different resource! Executive Coaching, once again sounds interesting to me. If you’re a blogger you may also have life-coaching capabilities within you naturally. One opportunity on the Solution Box website for the month of June is a download they have titled, “50 Power Questions to Take Control of Your Life.”

Why do I feel life coaching is important? One key reason is due to the fact that life has many distractions, which causes us to get off track from what we really need to focus on and accomplish. There are also many people that I will refer to as, “dream squashers” and unfortunately they are often the people who are closest to us such as our next of kin or a best friend.

There are many reasons why one would or should pursue having a life coach, and many of the most successful people in any society have utilized their services at one time or another. If you’re reading this blog post it may be because you have made the decision to make an Internet business your career, and believe me you will be hit with many dream squashers, so you just may want to consider help from a life coach! You may also even be gifted with the right qualities to go through life coaching certification.

MyBlogLog for Bloggers

I guess you could say I’m a late bloomer with some things. Generally I’m not one of the first to jump into an opportunity. It took me some time before I finally decided to join MyBlogLog. Why all the fuss and delay?

For me personally it was because I didn’t care for some of the explicit avatars I had seen in their recent reader widgets appearing on peoples blogs. I decided I didn’t want to mess with it for that reason. One day recently while in a forum I learned that they were making some improvements to help control that. So, I decided to give MyBlogLog a whirl. The other hold-up for me is the amount of time it takes to participate in a social networking site such as that. My hands are quite full with researching improvements for our own community, Link & Blog Challenge.

If you’re with MyBlogLog, the widget is below in my left sidebar module, and I hope to have a chance to meet you. And, if you’ve stopped by, thanks in advance. :D

Internet Radio and Blogging!

Here we go again! :D A blogging friend of mine told me about the restaurant Chipolte, and it seemed that I recently had seen one of their locations while in a nearby town. I decided to look them up on the Internet and it confirmed that was the place I saw.

While looking up their website I noticed they had a link to an Internet radio too! Internet radio, is one of my passions while blogging. On their site their Internet radio actually looks like an old fashioned radio with three people dancing on it - lol. They have several links to access Internet radio while you blog, but I’ll leave it up to you to explore their website to find where they are.

Their entire website is very fun with flash player stuff! For those of you who are hooked on Internet radio, you’ll have to take a break from blogging to check out Chipolte’s Internet radio, among other things!

Blog Radio Rock Out!

The Internet is really quite an amazing tool for accessing various elements across the entire world! One thing I enjoy about blogging is listening to music, and in fact I’m currently listening to classic rock from AngelFire Radio an Internet radio station I access from our blogging community, Link & Blog Challenge!

Internet radio is one of my favorite things to do as I blog, and in that it’s Saturday night it seems to be a good time to rock out! :D But, did you know that Internet radio is currently facing some challenges and may suffer as a result? Internet radio needs us to speak up so we can continue to rock out, waltz, or whatever jazz you’re into.

Blogging to Relieve Stress!

Blogging is a great stress reliever! On the other hand, some may say it causes a great deal of stress - lol. I completely agree that during the times when things go awry technically speaking, that blogging can get a bit nerve-racking, but then again that’s not any different with many other endeavors in life.

It’s interesting to read what others say about blogging. I have to laugh when I read about others blogging at crazy hours, and how blogging becomes an obsession for some. As for me, well I’m also a blogging addict! Is that any surprise? :D

Widget Blog Templates

Spring cleaning was in order so we could update our blog template to a widget ready design. Although we liked our prior colors and design the old template was not widget ready and it would have required too much work to attempt to get it in order.

As they say, “Out with the old, and in with the new!” so we hope you like our new template. The header is not anything to blog about at the moment, but we’ll be working on improving that soon.

Happy Blogging! :D

Blogging About Blogging!

Blogging certainly didn’t take long to catch on. If we think about blogging it’s also very healthy as we have an opportunity to share our thoughts, opinions and information, which can also be very helpful to others.

One of my favorite things I’ve enjoyed about blogging is the fact that it brings people together from all walks of life, all countries and corners of the world. I find it fascinating to meet other bloggers and read what they like to blog about.

As an example, our newest member wrote about blogging for her first Link & Blog Challenge, and I found it fun to read her post about blogging. At the same time I had a good laugh looking at the comic she included in her post about blogging. Be sure to read her post about blogging for yet another perspective of blogging!
