Adsense in Posts with Blogger
One of my blogging friends Dennis mentioned on his blog that Blogger added the ability to easily add the Adsense codes into posts. This is in regards to those of you who are making use of the newer Blogger templates, which are widget ready.
From the illustration you can see how easy it is to add Adsense into your Blogger posts!
Simple go to the “Page Elements” section in your Blogger admin panel and then select “edit” in the lower right corner of the blog post widget.
The next screen (not shown) provides color selections for your Google Adsense advertisements, and the ad formats to select from for placement within your blog posts.
Not sure what the best colors are for your ads? It’s simple! Select the colors that blend in with your template the best. You will see in the Blogger screen beyond the “edit” button that Blogger will show you your template colors so you can select the ones to blend best with your template.
I suggest that you pick the same background color as your template, and the same text colors as your blog posts text. The more the colors blend with your template the greater your chances of someone clicking through an advertisement as it appears to be more of a natural link, and less like an advertisement. That’s it! You’re done!
You’ll want to be sure to head on over to Dennis’ blog to learn some great tips and tools for Internet marketing, but I don’t yet have a link to provide because his site is undergoing some renovations! Thanks Dennis for sharing that new Blogger tip on your blog. ![]()
