For every traveler there is a handy way to access their home or office computer from anywhere in the world where they would have an additional computer. We as bloggers are sometimes wanting to blog even while on vacation. Sure, you could put your blog on automatic if you wish, but not with all blogging platforms. Some bloggers compose their works on an application such as Word or Notepad prior to adding it to their blog. What if you could access your computer from a remote connection to access your articles you already have composed?
With RemotePC you can do just that and even if you have the new Windows Vista operating system on your computer. If you’re not sure how it would work, they have a demo to learn more about it.
For the traveling business person, or business owner, remote access could be a must in order to continue operations while out on the road or on a working vacation. Technology really is wonderful and quite amazing with what we can do these days. In fact it’s downright mind boggling!
Many people get started in blogging as an avenue to market affiliate programs, and I certainly respect that goal. In fact, that was one of my initial thoughts before I began blogging as well.
Setting affiliate programs aside, I think it’s first more important for a person to identify what topic they would enjoy blogging about on a weekly basis, and secondly building traffic to the blog.
Why? First the obvious reason is due to the fact that if you don’t have enough traffic established you will not be successful with any of the affiliate programs. Zero traffic, or nearly none would equate to zero affiliate dollars from programs you are marketing.
The other reason is because you need to establish a blog on a good foundation based on what you would be passionate to blog about, and on a consistent basis. If you don’t build your blogs on that foundation then you will not have a desire to stick with it long term, which would of course quickly put an end to any goals you may have to market affiliate programs.
So, the real question boils down to, should you blog for money? Yes, perhaps. No, maybe not - lol. It really entirely depends on your goals, but base your decision to blog on what you’re passionate to write about, not based on hype or potential money you can make from a particular affiliate program.
That’s just my .02 worth to help a new blogger or blogging wanna-be determine the foundation to blog upon!
History has a way of making predictions. In 1964 when one text book was written little did they know they were predicting the capabilities of the Internet, a search engine such as Google, and even a flat screen to view the information!
This is quite interesting to look at and I don’t want to steal this persons thunder with what they compiled on their site to demonstrate the point, so you’ll want to take a look at what the prediction was to see what I mean! Wow! Who could have known?
