I just discovered that I have been “tagged” by a forum friend Deb this week, and now I’ve been tagged by one of our members George Manty too! Since I was tagged twice this week, rather than writing only 5 things that you probably don’t know about me, I will write 10 things, and I will tag 6 people rather than only 3. Here goes…
- Born the same year as Jamie Lee Curtis, Michael Jackson and Sharon Stone, but I’m not a celebrity fan.
- When I was a toddler I refused to get out of the wading pool. I’ve been a water bug since and love to use swim fins.
- My interest in blogging started while healing from a broken writing wrist. Although I trained myself to write left-handed during that time, it was still quite sloppy looking when read. Fortunately blogging only requires using the computer keyboard!
I now feel everyone should learn to write with their other hand since you never know when you may need to use it!
- I always thought it would be fun to be an undercover detective. Years ago I helped a friend recover her dog in an undercover detective-like manner. I loved every minute of it!
- I’ve always loved music of all types, and I sang in choir all through school, then later in church choirs in my adult years. As a teen I played the organ and classical guitar. In the 1990’s I learned to play the violin, which I inherited from my grandmother in the 1970’s. I would love to own and learn to play a baby grand, and an antique Victorian harp. However, the biggest problem with learning so many instruments is the challenge to master one.
- I consider the Bible to be the greatest time-tested book ever written, and believe every word of the Bible to be the true inspiration of God. I’m proud to say I surrendered my heart to Jesus Christ in 1985.
- One of my favorite books I’ve recently read is: In the Presence of Angels
, by E. Lonnie Melashenko and Timothy E. Crosby. The book is a collection of true angel stories, which I love.
- Most of my working years have been in marketing, and I’ve always been an entrepreneur at heart.
- My parents took my sisters and I to the movies when I was young, but I could never sit still so we stopped going. I suppose it was because I drove them all nuts.
- It’s not uncommon to find me in a second-hand store shopping for a bargain.
To pass the torch, I tagged the following people:
Brad, Maki, Carson, Dominique, Kimberly, Michael
You can either write at least 5 things about yourself that we don’t already know. Or, if you have already done that recently on your blog then perhaps you would like to write 5 reasons why you chose to become a blogger! Don’t forget to tag 3 people too!
